Finals week is almost upon on us and stress levels at are at an all-time high. All-nighters and coffee runs are the norm for most college students during this time. However, this adds more stress to the already stressful week ahead. Here are some tips to keep it together during finals:

  • Get at least six hours of sleep at night. Sometimes it’s better to go to bed after a long day rather than trying to stay up all night doing an assignment or studying; your mind is more refreshed in the morning after a good sleep.
  • Eat well. Although it’s tempting to order a pizza at 10 p.m., avoid the late night munchies. Brain food includes eating veggies, fruit and drinking enough water a day, especially if you are drinking coffee.
  • Don’t wait to study for finals the night before. Dividing the material you’ve learned over the course of the semester by day eases the stress of the exam. You will be more prepared if you study an hour a day for one subject and your brain may even remember it better. Also, writing things down improves your memory, according to PBS.org.

Below is the schedule for finals week to better help your planning.
