4 things to do in Dallas before Christmas Break

4+things+to+do+in+Dallas+before+Christmas+Break

The 12 Days Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum

The 12 Days of Christmas is back at the arboretum. Dallas is transformed into a winter wonderland until Jan. 3, complete with Christmas music and glitzy décor covering the garden. Don’t miss out on the chance to see the 25-foot Victorian gazebos, each showcasing a day from the holiday classic, “The 12 Days of Christmas.”

Ice-skating at the Galleria Dallas

Grab your roommate, friends or study buddy and head to the Galleria Dallas. The ice skating rink in the center of the Galleria is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. Every Saturday there are special performances by ice-skating champions and a visit from Santa.

12 Bars of Christmas

Head to Uptown and feel good about doing it. The 12 Bars of Christmas is back on Dec. 11. Purchase a ticket to support your favorite charity and head out to the official 12 Bars of Uptown, including SMU student favorites The Trophy Room, The Social House and 6th Street.

Gaylord ICE!

The Gaylord Texan Resort is back with ICE! The theme this season is “Christmas Around the World.” Throw on a parka and walk through a maze of over two million pounds of ice and over one and a half million twinkling Christmas lights.
