‘Beyond the Farthest Star’ comes to Dallas for one night only

Beyond the Farthest Star comes to Dallas for one night only

Recently selected to screen at the 2015 Values Voter Summit in D.C, “Beyond the Farthest Star” is an independent film that has critics raving. It is currently working its way across the country on a city-by-city tour for its national release.

The film, starring Renee O’Connor, Todd Terry and Barry Corbin, was filmed entirely in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and is coming home for a one-night event at the Angelika theatre.

The film tells the story of a preacher who is in the midst of a First Amendment battle, but the struggles he faces with the law and media are nothing compared to those he faces with his family. A story of secrets and deception, “Beyond the Farthest Star” is a film that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The film is playing one night only, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Dallas Angelika Film Center.
