Starbucks offers three new ‘Valentine’s Day Drinks’

Starbucks+offers+three+new+Valentines+Day+Drinks

Love hurts. Love scars. But chocolate and coffee have never let you down, have they?

At least that is what Starbucks is claiming this Valentine’s season. What better way to fill an empty heart than with chocolate-filled caffeinated drinks? When you figure that out, let me know.

Staring Feb. 8 and lasting through the 14th, Starbucks is adding three new drinks to its menu, the Molten Chocolate Latte, the Molten Chocolate Frappuccino Blended Beverage and Molten Hot Chocolate. (If you weren’t already convinced by their names, each drink has melted chocolate chips in them. Need I say more?).

Got a coffee-loving significant other or a friend deserving of a Valentine? Just want to treat yourself on this Hallmark Holiday? Have no fear, Starbucks is here!

Not only is the well-known coffee chain celebrating Valentine’s Day with their signature drinks, but they also are offering a “#Starbucksdate Gif Giver,” which in other words is a gif that Starbucks has created. Anyone can go on their website, choose a gif to create, address the gif to a friend, and then share it on social media. (I’m usually not one to promote social media over an actual conversation, but I checked it out and they are pretty darn adorable. But still, write a card).

Not to be forgotten, Starbucks is also offering their yearly Valentine’s Day mugs, tumblers and gift cards, available at store location. The gift cards are even in the shape of a heart. (Does anyone else think the Starbucks marketing team is trying to make up for the Red Cup disaster of winter 2015? It could be working).

And for those of us who want to “set the mood” and have no idea how, there is a Starbucks Valentine’s Day playlist on Spotify. You’re welcome.

So whether you want a drink to have in your hands as you cozy up to your loved one this week or a chocolate cup of goodness to be your Valentine, check out the new Starbucks Valentine’s Day drinks; who knows, they may be better than the renowned Pumpkin Spice Latte.
