Paul Ryan brings much to the table for Romney

by Julie Fancher Email: jfancher@smu.edu   Watching Paul Ryan speak Wednesday night at the GOP convention, one thing kept coming into my mind: when Mitt Romney announced his Vice Presidential candidate as “the next President of the United States.” I think that’s how the ticket should be, Ryan/Romney, not Romney/Ryan. Ryan is everything Romney is not. He is new, exciting and holds strong on his ideals. Despite his youth, I think Ryan would be the better candidate solely based off his “likability.”  I will admit, when Romney first announced Ryan as his VP candidate, I was wondering why. Ann Romney wins hearts at GOP Convention

The 63-year-old mother of five looked nowhere close to her age with her bright blonde hair and striking red dress which she told the Chicago Tribune was undecided on even hours before her appearance. It was obvious that Romney knew what the purpose of her speech, the first one ever written for her, was. It was her job to humanize the notoriously stiff Mitt Romney.
