The SMU in DC crew took off this morning, some earlier than others. My flight was set to depart Dallas at 10:30 this morning. I woke up in somewhat of a panic, unsure if I was going to be able to do this. The pressure was starting to get to me and now I was in full on panic mode, wondering if I had remembered to packed everything I needed. Once I was on the plane, I realized that this all seemed too familiar. I had done this nearly four years ago. As a senior in high school, I went to D.C. with my classmates for a trip called Close-Up, which took high school seniors around the city to teach them about the legislative system. ...
