Greek Life: Sorority and Fraternity Members Show Talent at Pi Phi Mr. University

By Meghan Garlich Mgarlich@smu.edu What were you doing last Thursday night? If you weren’t at Mr. University watching frat boys compete for the crown, then you certainly missed out. Let me recap. Mr. University is an annual male pageant hosted by the SMU Pi Beta Phi sorority in support of their philanthropy, First Book. Not only is the event for a good cause, but it also brings together the Greek Community as each sorority and fraternity encouraged choose a male representative to compete in four divisions. This year, Hughes Trigg was jam-packed with approximately 300 SMU students. Eager for to see the eleven selected contestants, Greek supporters and potential new members mingled and noshed on Raising Cane’s delicious chicken fingers. ...
