Sadly, McCain's fighting spirit is of the nasty sort, which I believe is worse than none at all. Just like he and his cohorts consider being shot down in a plane the number one source of presidential viability, running a strong negative campaign is not running a good campaign. Bush did it, he got 8 years to destroy the US economy. I fear, more every day, that McCain is headed down the same path. I didn't use to, but now there's no doubt he'd be a horrible horrible president.
