Fox addresses immigration, drug trade

Abstract:
Former Mexican President Vicente Fox stopped at SMU Tuesday as part of his whirlwind tour of the United States to raise money for his presidential library and speak to various groups about his presidency.

An overflowing crowd greeted Fox in the Hughes-Trigg Ballroom for the Turner Construction Student Forum, and his responses drew frequent applause....

No to a Communist North American Union. Yes to enforcement of our immigration laws. Seal the border. That should solve Mexico's problem of being between the largest drug producers and so-called largest drug using country. Mexico should stop facilitating the addiction of "our children" to their drugs, period.

Instead of raising money for a library to chronicle his failed presidency, why doesn't this obviously intelligent and charming man use his influence to improve his nation. There is no need for Mexico to even fool with the UN. All they need to do is go tear down the wall on their southern border, start treating the illegal aliens from Central America with some semblance of decency. They could visit a US detention center for some pointers.

Then they could reform their corrupt system, institute reforms that would encourage confidence from foreign investors, and before you know it instead of setting up a fund to help Mexico and other Latin American countries, which we all know would be pilfered, you would have foreigners providing capital, and locals could start businesses and become rich, spreading wealth in the community and achieving the Mexican dream right there in Mexico.

The last thing America needs is another failed dictator giving us lectures while it exports 10% of it's population for us to feed, heal and educate while forcing American citizens to pay for it, the same ciitzens who were displaced by illegals willing to work for nothing.

Tell him to get in line behind Castro, Kim, and that idiot from Iran, (oh yeah, and that guy from France!)

Actually, I wanted to say many things about the President of Mexico, Bush's buddy speaking at a U.S. university. But I have become tired of commenting on this stuff. (let the reader understand) Tom Tancredo, President -200- to avoid the best choice of two evils again, which is immoral and evil.

Today we have to stop the immigrants from crossing illeagally. This today is allowing more drugs to enter making this country worse. I say we put a 367ft wall between mexico and the united states. Then we can finally have some peace and maybe we will stop complaining about jobs and just go get some. :)
