Willis awaits University investigation

SMU quarterback Justin Willis has been indefinitely suspended from the SMU football team after attacking sophomore Jamil Beard at an off-campus gathering early Friday morning. The staff of Dean of Student Life Dee Siscoe is currently evaluating the case involving Willis and Beard. (3) comments

Vodicka's wife seeks divorce, new counsel

Gary Vodicka's wife has dismissed him as her attorney in the University Gardens case and is seeking new representation or will represent herself in court, she said in an exclusive interview with The Daily Campus. Shannon Jacuzzi also revealed some of the figures being tossed back and forth in mediation between SMU and Vodicka in mediation for the UG case. (0) comments

Gubernatorial candidates debate

The four Texas gubernatorial candidates met for a live televised debate in Dallas on Friday. Republican incumbent Rick Perry, Democratic challenger Chris Bell, and independents Kinky Friedman and Carole Keeton Strayhorn held their only debate before the November election. (0) comments
