Tunnel provides learning experience

SMU students received an unconventional lesson about diversity this week at the Tunnel of Oppression, a national event performed on college campuses. From a distance, the white tents and luminaries set up on the Boulevard looked unassuming, but a closer inspection revealed banners covered with slurs like hobo and whore, catching participants' attention. State health services searches for rabid puppy owners

Texas Department of State Health Services and the Weatherford Police Department are searching for the original owners of a rabied puppy that was dropped off at the Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter in Weatherford, Texas between Oct. 21-26. The rabied puppy caused 90 dogs at the shelter to be euthanized due to the high risk. (0) comments
