Methodist clergy launch anti-library petition

A group led by Methodist ministers launched a Web site Thursday that encourages SMU to drop its bid to be the site of the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Visitors to the site are encouraged to sign an online petition to be presented to SMU administrators. (14) comments

While most students were preparing for classes to begin, moving back into their dorms or rushing for a Greek organization, sophomores Ashley Winder, Kirsten Schutz and freshman Astrud Villareal were taking classes in Washington, D.C., to learn how to address critical issues facing the world today and how to effect positive social change.
