Obsession with celebrity feuds

Ed Board thinks the tabloid-crazy public needs to get a grip

Yes, celebrities have been behaving a lot like children lately-and Ed Board is getting tired of it. Let's start with the clash of the "titans:" Donald Trump versus Rosie O'Donnell. In late December, Rosie slammed Donald for allowing Miss USA, Tara Conner, to keep her crown despite allegations of underage drinking, drug use and inappropriate sexual behavior. (0) comments

The senior class owes a big thank you to fellow senior Meghan Beattie for advocating a cause very near and dear to our hearts. Of course, I'm talking about the Homebar situation. For those of you who went on the first Thursday of the semester (and that's pretty much everyone), you know what I'm talking about. (0) comments

At the Student Senate meeting Tuesday, I did not hear one accurate statement about the Environment Committee's past operations. I was the only person who could have verified the presuppositions used against the committee because I ran the committee the previous two years and was a member for the previous three. (2) comments

George wasn't an athlete, he didn't serve in the defining military conflict of his generation, and like so many rich white people, before and after him, he could not avoid the allure of cocaine to help him cope with his feelings of impotence and shame.
