Crowd control was out of control

Security struggles with crowd at SMU vs. TCU football game

As Ford Stadium reached capacity during the "DFW Duel for the Iron Skillet," fans, parents and alumni were met with new challenges when trying to get to their usual seats. Security guards were actually required to put their foot down on fans trying to wander to new seats in the stadium. (4) comments

One of the most unfortunate realities of growing up is that you start forgetting important information. When you are younger, you vow that you will always remember certain facts, events, or instances, but soon they start fading away. When it comes to forgetting what you learn in college, foreign language skills are some of the first to go. (0) comments

Of the multitude of different styles, goals, extraneous events and speeches of the 2008 Democratic and Republican conventions, the main difference between the two is that the Republican Party seeks to set the focus of the election on the individual candidates, while the Democratic Party seeks to set the focus of the election on the issues. Hello, My name is Courtenay Paris and I am the Station Manager of KPNI SMU Radio. As I am sure you know, we have an event coming up this Sunday, Sept. 21 with the band Hanson. They will be on campus doing a walk for AIDS research and treatment. The hardest part of running a college newspaper is time management, figuring out when covering a story overrules going to class, time spent in the newsroom, time spent doing homework and time to sleep. The second hardest thing is generating news content that students care about, that students want to read and most importantly that students will write. (0) comments
