Director of the Met speaks at Tate Lecture

Phillipe de Montebello was the fourth speaker in the Tate Lecture Series and led an informal question and answer session at the Turner Construction/Wachovia Student Forum and the Dan and Gail Cook evening lecture on Tuesday. de Montebello, the longest serving director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, has greatly changed the museum during his time as director, and oversaw the transformation of the Met into one of the most important museums in the world. DORBA brings off-road biking trails to North Texas

Imagine the wind sweeping past your face while your hands tightly clench the handlebars of a bike as you ride down a rocky trail. Yearning for YouTube

Walk into the library on any given afternoon and about half of the computers you see are on YouTube. Most students find it hard to imagine life without YouTube or other online video sources. SMU Temerlin Advertising Institute students Anna Lee Doughtie, Kat Farmer and Lizzie Harris conducted research to find out what would happen if students deprived themselves of online video sources for two weeks.
