An SMU female student reported an on-campus sexual assault to campus authorities Wednesday night, according to a school-wide SMU Aware email sent at 2:09 p.m. Thursday.
According to the email, the female student reported that she was sexually assaulted by a student acquaintance at approximately 11:30 p.m. at Ware Residential Commons, 5807 Bush Ave.
The SMU Police Department is investigating the case. Anyone with information about this matter is encouraged to contact SMU PD at 214-768-3333 or anonymously through the Silent Witness Program by calling 214-SMU-2TIP or visiting their website online.
