Loyd Commons hosted a successful family weekend social this past Friday, Oct. 24, for the families of the residents. There were fun games, food, drinks, great music, plus a cute photo booth for residents to pose with the Loyd Peruna. While the event was lighthearted and fun, it also was a valuable vehicle to bring families together. Parents of the residents were able to meet and bond with other Loyd families, creating a bridge between the residents home lives and lives here at SMU. This event was the first of its kind and will hopefully mark the start of a long lasting tradition on campus!
