Fire Alarm, 11:52 p.m., Heroy Science Bldg. (3225 Daniel Avenue): University Park Fire Department responded to an active fire alarm.  It was determined burnt food activated the alarm.  UPFD reset the fire panel and cleared with on further incident.    Closed.

Criminal Trespass Warning and Warrants, 4:31 p.m.: Owens Art Center: A non-affiliated individual with warrants was criminal trespassed from the SMU Campus. Closed.

Criminal Trespass Warning, 5:59 p.m., Park Cities Plaza/CVS: Four non-affiliated individuals were criminal trespassed from the SMU campus. Closed.

December 23

Theft, 5:18 p.m., Underwood Law Library Bicycle Rack: A student reported the theft of her bicycle. The theft occurred between 9:00 a.m. and 4:55 p.m. Open.

Fire Alarm, 5:50 p.m., Law School Parking Garage: A burning smell from the elevator shaft activated the fire alarm. The elevator was shut down until it can be repaired. Closed.

Criminal Mischief, 12:28 p.m., Embrey Engineering Building: A window on a door was broken. Open.

Criminal Trespass Warning and Warrants, 1:24 p.m., Dawson Service Center: A non-affiliated man was criminal trespassed from the SMU campus and taken to jail for 11 outstanding warrants. Closed.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1:20 p.m., 5900 Block Bishop Blvd.: Two non-affiliated brothers were issued University Park citations for having drug paraphernalia in their possession. Closed.

Burglary of Vehicle, 3:16 p.m., East Campus Parking Lot (6116 Central Expressway): A non-affiliated person reported some unknown person broke into her vehicle and stole her purse containing personal items. She also reported theft of three iPODs and a brown jacket. The theft occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Open.
