Does the current election hubbub have you feeling down on patriotism? If yes, what better way to fix it than to learn about our country’s flag?

Join the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the United Students Association (USA) tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Hughes Trigg M Lounge to learn about the meaning of the American flag and the symbolism behind it.

LULAC and USA have partnered up to bring motivational speaker and member of the F.L.A.G. Program Jim Rodriguez to speak on campus.

Rodriguez, father of American actor James Roday, is an experienced motivational speaker and Taco Bueno sales manager for 157 Taco Bueno stores.

He will be speaking on the meaning of the American flag, as well as raising and lowering it.

The F.L.A.G. Program’s goal is to inform students on the significance behind one of America’s most important symbols, as well as to inspire patriotism.

The free event will be catered by Taco Cabana.
