The Magnolia Hotel is currently housing 40 Delta Gamma women as SMU’s Delta Gamma president, Hayley Young, scrambles to figure out where to hold chapter and gather everyone together for the next two weeks.

“It’s definitely a huge challenge on my end,” said Young.

SMU’s Delta Gamma house is still under construction in the second week of the fall semester.

Rebuilding of the house began in June of 2014. Move-in day was pushed back to Sept. 11 from Aug.18 due to rain in May and June.

Construction is almost complete and the Delta Gammas hope to move in before the new date.
