Going with the back-to-school theme this week on The Southernista, I decided to give you a little peek of what I carry around with me to class everyday (give or take a few textbooks and notepads)!

3. Kate Spade cosmetic bag. It holds all of my beauty essentials: Chantecaille Brillant Gloss in Sweet, Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color in Retro Pink, Bobbi Brown Brightening Lip Gloss in Pink Lilac 4, Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm, and Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Orange Fizz
4. Oliver Peoples Sunglasses
5. Ralph Lauren scarf. I love to tie a scarf around the handles for a pop of color and personality.
6. Marc by Marc Jacobs notepad. A journalist always has a pen and notepad.
7. White iPhone 4 with Kate Spade case (have you picked up on the Kate Spade obsession yet?)
