Finally finished posting all of your summer throwback photos? Need something to break up the flash photos on your feed? It’s about time to infuse Fall into your Instagram feeds with the following festive Dallas photo opportunities.

The Great Crumpkin

Crum Commons is back with its’ annual music and film festival. This year’s event will be on Friday Oct 26 at 6 p.m. With events going on until 1 a.m., it’ll be easy to find time to attend. Last year’s Great Crumpkin featured a huge blow up pumpkin and twinkle lights–need I say more?

Pumpkins on pumpkins on pumpkins!! Our favorite place in town to snatch some 🎃?! RUIBALS!! – @ruibalsgardenshop down by the Farmer’s Market is THE place to go when October 1st comes around and it’s time to break out the Halloween decorations!! Ruibal’s not only has the best backdrop with the Downtown skyline directly in the background haha, they literally have hundreds upon hundreds of pumpkins from giant to big to small to tiny to white to bumpy to multicolored and beyond. – And if you’re not looking to buy pumpkins, it’s still totally worth the trip to go buy and see their display. In fact when we were there getting some photos, we saw several parents taking pics of their kids sitting on the giant pumpkins!

Ruibal’s Plants

A post-Farmer’s Market haunt, Ruibal’s Plants is always overflowing with–you guessed it–plants. However, fall means the store is flooded with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. It’s perfect for snapping an Instagram picture (or two or three). And don’t be surprised if you go home with a few squash of your own.

Autumn at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum never fails to deliver with its annual pumpkin festival. Visit now until Nov 21 to see 90,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds displayed beautifully throughout the garden. This year’s theme is “The Adventures in Neverland.” Grab your camera before heading out, because it’ll look like you stepped out of the Dallas heat and into a Fall Wonderland.

Mutt’s Howl-o-Ween

Dogs, costumes and tacos? Count me in. Mutt’s Canine Cantina in Uptown will be having its 6th annual dog costume contest at 11 a.m. on Oct 20. Fun fact: you do not have to have a dog to get into Mutt’s- just buy a day pass at the door and enjoy tacos while ogling over the cutest pets in Dallas.

Pumpkin Treats at Bird Bakery

No instagram feed is complete without some insta-worthy food. Fuel your sweet tooth with some pumpkin spice cupcakes from Bird Bakery. Not a cupcake person? No worries, Bird’s famous pumpkin pie is back and better than ever.
