David Halberstam will speak at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Hughes-Trigg Theatre. The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist will be part of “The ’60s: Writing and Living History” panel discussion with the American Airlines Tate Academic Summit.
The second annual summit is part of a series of events on the SMU campus involving multiple academic areas. Halberstam was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1964 for his coverage of the Vietnam War. He is also the author of 11 best-selling books.
