The EAGLE Scholars Program is an after school college readiness program for students in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood. Janet Morrison, director of the program, works to help marginalized children reach their potential despite their circumstances.

Many SMU students spend their Thursday nights volunteering with the program to help teach classes and tutor students. Sanaa Ghanim, one of these SMU volunteers, says, “it has been amazing to help these kids see their potential. [The EAGLE Scholars Program] helps these students succeed.”

Morrison encourages people to come to the fundraiser and give to the program. “Our Scholars are amazing individuals equipping themselves for college. We would love for you to come find out more about our EAGLE Scholars program and donate what you can” says Morrison.
