Crum Commons brings students together via Instagram

By Allison Plake

From puppies to sporting events, laundry and homework, the Humans of Crum Instagram page sheds light on communal living. Started by current Resident Assistant Grant Hibbard, the page reflects on those living in Crum Commons and pays homage to the ever popular, Humans of New York website.

“I started Humans of Crum as a way to meet new people and to publically appreciate the many amazing people of Crum,” said Hibbard.

The page has started to gain momentum as the summer comes to a close and the fall semester begins.

Just two weeks ago, Kelly Kloff, a second-year and resident assistant of Crum Commons, was pictured at the North Texas Food Bank where she and other residents volunteered their time.

“Humans of Crum really gets to the heart of the commons and lets people know who we are,” said Kloff.
