Jodi Picoult comes to SMU

Friends of the SMU Libraries will be sponsoring another installment of Author’s LIVE! featuring the New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult on Monday October 27, 2014.

Picoult will be giving a lecture on her new book, Leaving Time: A Novel. The novel is about the journey 13-year-old Jenna Metcalf embarks upon to find her mother, Alice, who disappeared following a tragic accident at their elephant sanctuary 10 years before.

There will be an author’s reception held at DeGolyer Library at 6 p.m. and a free lecture at the SMU Hughes-Trigg Theater at 7 p.m. with a book signing after. RSVP is required for the author’s reception and the entrance fee is $30.
