Coming off of Thursday’s GOP debate, Marco Rubio made his way to Dallas to rally the crowd before Super Tuesday. Rubio took many explosive aims at fellow GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump during the debate and continued that trend throughout the rally this morning.

The Rubio rally took place at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas’s Arts District and the Dallas traffic showed that. Cars were going slow as soon as they got on Woodall Rodgers Freeway and free parking near Klyde Warren was completely full by 8:30 a.m.

Everyone who had registered for the 9 a.m. event arrived around 8:30 a.m. and milled around the lawn while a patriotic mix of popular country songs played from the stage.

However, media crews gathered hours before the rest of the crowds to set up and start filming.

Hundreds of people were gathered for the event, despite the chilly weather that fell over Dallas that morning. But the man of the hour, Rubio, was nearly an hour late for the event.

Once he arrived, though, the crowd became electric and Rubio got right to hitting the strong points. He started off his speech with the same fire from the Debate last night. He was hitting back at Donald Trump and telling the crowd some behind the scenes secrets from the night.

While Rubio began the event with lots of jokes and laughs, he made sure to point out the seriousness of the upcoming vote on Super Tuesday and how it could affect the Republican Party.

After Rubio stressed what he thinks are the dangers of voting for Donald Trump, he transitioned into his own view for the country under President Rubio. Many times he said he would repeal the Iran Deal that President Obama made and look into rolling back Obamacare. However, he also stressed the importance of uniting the country and making sure he would make life better for all people.

After close to 30 minutes of speaking, Rubio reminded everyone gathered to vote and make sure all of their friends voted as well. As he said goodbye and left the stage, the crowd cheered and clapped until he was long out of sight. Rubio’s speech came just ahead of Donald Trump’s appearance in Fort Worth later Friday afternoon.
