SMU is turning 100, and Eli Young Band will be on the Hilltop to sing the Mustangs Happy Birthday.

SMU Program Council is inviting alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff to count down SMU’s 100th birthday in a fun-filled evening of music on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Moody Coliseum. Musical guest star Cam will also perform.

Student tickets are free this year as part of the year of the student celebration.

SMU Program Council Concert Chair Richmond Dewan said PC and other student organizations are giving away early entry passes that will give students the chance to be in the front row. Check student organizations social media sites to win.

Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. but Dewan encourages students to show up early.

“There’s limited floor capacity. Once the floor fills up, students will be seated in the stands,” Dewan said.

If you’re not a student, tickets are available online at Smu.edu/countdownconcert.
