Interested in a teaching career? SMU’s Simmons Department of Teaching and Learning will be hosting an informational session for prospective teachers on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. in room 208 of the Annette Caldwell Simmons School.
The event, “Pathways to the Classroom,” will give insight about becoming a certified teacher in Texas. The Simmons School is advertising the event as an “information session for people who want to change the world” and has opened the event to the public.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their transcripts and meet with an adviser to discuss next steps following the session.
