Clarice Tinsley Speaks at SMU
SMU students and faculty got to hear from the longest serving anchor in the DFW metroplex Thursday.
Clarice Tinsley spoke at the faculty luncheon in the Fincher Building in the Cox School of Business.
She detailed her career in journalism — which includes stories from covering President Bush and President Obama, a time in Dubai when she was on vacation and reported on an apartment fire on New Year’s Eve, and her fee-good segment called “Hometown Heroes.”
She has been the 10 o’clock news anchor for KDFW since 1978
