SMU Community and First Responders Honor 9/11 Victims

The SMU and Dallas Community came together for a memorable tribute Wednesday morning. The SMU Police Department and local first responders gathered by the flagpole to honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Students and professors, along with President Turner, came to pay their respects.

“It’s always been really important to honor those who fell,” said John Crispo, an SMU student. “I know a lot of first responders in New York City and I know that this is really important to them.”
