The SMU Men’s Basketball team made the most of its flight delay Sunday night after its first season loss against Temple University, 89-80, in Philadelphia.

The 2016 Blizzard ranks fourth in Philadelphia’s history, according to ABC Channel 6. While waiting for flight updates, they watched the end of the Broncos-Patriots playoff game.

After deplaning, the team headed to a Brazilian steakhouse to kill some time.

The team took advantage of the new fallen snow and had a snowball fight.

Several hours later, the team boarded the plane in the ice.

Finally, the Mustangs made it home safely at 4 a.m. Monday.
