SMU basketball falls to No. 13 Gonzaga

The Mustangs traveled to Spokane, Washington to take on Gonzaga in a 72-56 loss on Monday night. SMU is now 1-1 on the season.

SMU shot only 31 percent after making 19 of 61 shots and in the second half shot 24 percent. Gonzaga shot 42 percent against the Mustangs after coming off its season opener against Sacramento State, where they scored 104 points.

SMU’s Ben Moore scored 11 points while Nic Moore scored 10 for the Mustangs.
