SMU men’s soccer remains undefeated

SMU Men’s Soccer shutout the University of Central Arkansas 3-0 on Tuesday night at Westcott Field.

Garrett McLaughlin tallied the first goal for the Mustangs in the 27th minute of regulation with an assist from Knut Ahlander. Wyatt Priest also put one past UCA goalie Marc Olsen in the first half. Ahlander scored the final goal of the night, and his fourth goal of the season, in the 60th minute.

The Mustangs advance to 9-0-0 and have only allowed three goals all season, outscoring their opponents 31-3.

The team is set to face No.11/9 UCF in an American Athletic Conference showdown on Sunday evening back at Westcott Field.
