The Alexander Wang Fall 2018 collection shined in fashion week. The show was set in the old Condé Nast office building with corporate babes as the theme. Model Bella Hadid and 16-year-old Kaia Gerber walked the show.

“We’re all like boss ladies. You know, being in an office like this, it’s just really cool and really different,” Gerber told E! News.

The models wore blazers, big shoulders, trousers and tight, black dresses embellished with zippers and buttons.

Celebrities at the event included capper Cardi B and Anna Wintour, who sat together at the show.

“I couldn’t contain myself, but I kept it together,” Cardi B told E! News.

The corporate theme is ironic because designer Alexander Wang is famous for having extravagant after-parties. Famous musicians have attended these over-the-top soirées, including Miley Cyrus, Tinashe and Lil Wayne. The annual after-party even goes by the name #WangFest.

This season, Wang proved he follows the “work hard, play hard” system by designing pieces with a strong, mature CEO theme. Of course, none of these outfits were appropriate for a work environment. Wang didn’t skimp on the accessories—models wore matrix-like shades, spiky leather gloves and Swarovski handbags.

The show proved there is nothing casual about business casual.
