Simply Stylist Los Angeles gathered the crème de la crème at the March 2013 event with panelists Brad Goreski, Louise Roe, Aimee Song and Whitney Port and host Catt Sadler.

With many successful events in New York and Los Angeles under their belts, the Simply Stylist team will bring their famous fashion and beauty conference to the Big D for the first time on Sunday, Nov. 17. The event will introduce all areas of the fashion and beauty industries to women eager to learn, network and be inspired.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. but will be divided into four parts with three ticket levels enabling access to certain events: VIP Fashionista, Fashion and Beauty Lover and Shopaholic.

The morning starts off with a bang for VIP Fashionistas with a networking brunch hosted by Haute Look from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sarah Boyd, the founder of Simply Stylist, said, “Basically, it’s an opportunity for our VIP attendees to build relationships and have a mimosa!” During the brunch, there will also be a tweet-in raffle for a $500 gift card from Haute Look and goodies valued at $1,000 from Simply Stylist.

Next up there will be a panel hosted by E! News correspondent Catt Sadler featuring rewardStyle President and Co-Founder Amber Venz, T.V. personality and fashion blogger Courtney Kerr, D Magazine lifestyle editor Raya Ramsey, Neiman Marcus Willow Bend Public Relations Manager Rachel Roberts and beauty “vlogger” Leigh Ann.

Roberts wishes a networking event like Simply Stylist had existed when she was a newbie in the fashion and beauty industry. Roberts said, “I think an event like this is so important so that you can hear the honest truth of what it takes to succeed in this rapidly growing industry. At 22, I would have told myself to get some sleep because you have a lot of long days and nights ahead!”

The panelists will focus on what skills set them apart from the competition to get them to where they are today as well as share hot fashion trends such as this season’s must-have, plaid. The panel will last from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and is available for VIP Fashionistas and Beauty Lovers.

Following the panel there will be a quick meet and greet with the panelists for VIP Fashionistas only from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is the perfect time to chat up and to snap an Instagram or two with the women changing the face of the fashion and beauty industries.

Last but not least, the designer shopping event and breakout sessions are available to all ticket holders and run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Stock up on holiday gifts and other goodies at a discount from Express and local boutiques while sipping complimentary cocktails and getting pampered by Dallas beauty experts. The breakout sessions also suit a variety of needs from “Finding your Fashionality,” to “Blog to Brand,” to “The Style of Social Media” and “Blogging 101.”

The Simply Stylist fashion and beauty extravaganza will be a lot of fun but also beneficial to SMU students nearing graduation. Boyd said, “The event will give them a real look into the real world. There are a lot of conferences that go on the tip of an iceberg, but we’re very real. They’ll also get to meet a lot of amazing people with their business cards ready.”

Boyd is a born matchmaker and has always maintained an interest in helping the younger generation. Boyd worked in fashion PR for ten years dressing celebrities and working with top stylists and bloggers. She said, “I had this dream job every girl thought was the coolest thing ever, and it was! But I had this hole in my stomach that there was something I needed to fill. I introduced an intern to JLo’s stylist and the next thing I knew, she was the biggest stylist in LA. I wanted to take that to another level and build a community where women can network and learn from each other.”

A portion of ticket sales will benefit I AM THAT GIRL, a community focused on heightening women’s self-worth and purpose. Boyd decided to partner up with I AM THAT GIRL, because she believes their mission statements align. Boyd said, “They’re all about empowering women, and that’s definitely what we’re about too. They really push entrepreneurialism in women. You can create your own world, business and empire.”

VIP Fashionista sells for $200, Fashion and Beauty Lover sells for $100 and Shopaholic sells for $20.00. The Simply Stylist team has generously offered a 15% off promo code exclusive for SMU students. Just enter SMU at checkout when you purchase your tickets at http://simplystylist.com/dallas-2013/.

Boyd said, “I hope everyone leaves with a lot of friends, business relationships and internships at the end.” So what are you waiting for?
