Last night students hung posters across campus to encourage campus diversity in response to anti-black posters that were previously hung.
On the morning of Nov. 15, fliers titled “Why White Women Shouldn’t Date Black Men,” were found in Armstrong commons and, later that day, in the Dedman Life Sciences building. Some students commented on their reactions.
This fall, SMU announced several new Boulevarding rules aimed to reduce underage alcohol consumption, encourage campus safety and make the experience more inclusive. Students across campus had reactions, both positive and negative, to the changes.
