SMU’s Janelle Giordano, middle blocker, was selected to the USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team in a tour of Europe this summer. The team was made up of 12 players and Giordano was one of two freshmen chosen to be on the USA team. The team made its rounds traveling to matches in Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. They played in the Global challenge and had the chance to play against the Croatian National Team in an exhibition match. The tour was July 8-19.
